Povoas Packaging opens
Albert Reginald Povoas began ‘Povoas Box Making
Company’ in 1954. He supplied cardboard boxes to the local hosiery businesses in Leicester City.
First Extrusion machine
In the early 1960’s, Povoas Packaging purchases their first polythene extrusion machine, transforming their packaging capabilities.
City change into Rural Leicestershire
Povoas Packaging moves to a purpose built factory in Fleckney, Leicestershire, providing local jobs and creating lasting relationships.
Location change
In 2000, with more demand than ever before, Povoas Packaging changes location to our current purpose built factory in Northamptonshire. This transition allowed us to cater to a wider variety of needs and invest in a range of machinery.
