Povoas Packaging opens
In 1954, Albert Reginald Povoas begins ‘Povoas Box Making
Company’ supplying cardboard boxes to the local hosiery businesses in Leicester City.
First Extrusion machine
In the early 1960’s, Povoas Packaging purchases their first polythene extrusion machine, transforming their packaging capabilities.
City change into Rural Leicestershire
As an expanding business, Povoas Packaging moves to a purpose built factory in Fleckney, Leicestershire. Providing local jobs and creating lasting relationships, Povoas Packaging becomes a household name across the industry.
Location change
In 2000, with more demand than ever before, Povoas Packaging changes location to our current purpose built factory in Northamptonshire. With more space, Povoas Packaging were able to: cater to a wider variety of needs, purchase innovative machines and offer an extensive range of products.
